ALL ARE WELCOME!

WE MEAN IT!

Life as we know it

More and more I see the interconnectedness of people.  We are meant to be a community.  We are meant to lean on each other and then to be the support for someone else to lean on.  Why is that so hard?

Some of us have been taught that you take care of yourself.  Of course we do what we can, but what’s wrong with asking for help?  Jesus invited the disciples to help in his ministry.  Do you honestly think He needed them?  Did Jesus have to have two fish and five loaves of bread as some kind of “starter” for His miracle of the feeding of the 5,000?  No.  God invites us to help in His ministry.

Why?  Because, like Jesus washing the feet of the faithful, we have a part of those we have served.  We care.  We build kinship.  That was God’s plan all along — that we should be a community of faith, a family of God.

Look for ways to build up God’s family.  Look for ways to help . . . or allow someone to help you. Look for ways to listen . . . or share a story someone else may listen to.  Look for ways to become one as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are one.
